I feel like there's probably an obvious answer that isn't occurring to me that will make me feel like an utter fool once I stumble onto it.ĮDIT: Well, it's fixed now, and the solution was very much an obvious answer that I feel foolish for not thinking of. I've made sure, again and again, that the game is launching the DX11 version. I've scoured for other processes that might interfere (I had to remember to kill the Xbox Game Bar that Windows 10 likes to do by default). I've attempted both base ReShade install and using programs like the EspressoGlow installer. Umami Fantasy is inspired by high fantasy media and real-world environments to deliver a breath of fresh air to the world of Eorzea. I've tried renaming d3d11.dill to dxgi.dll as well, and the same happens (or rather, doesn't happen). It's as though it simply isn't installed. It's just that none of the keybinds work, and I get no message on game start that ReShade is operating. There's no error message or freezing or hangups. This worked just fine prior to the reset, but even after I set up everything as it had been, ReShade no longer works. Because presets don't like to save when it's installed in Program Files, I just put it directly under C:/Square Enix (screenshot of current /game folder ). So, a ways back, I had to reset my PC and reinstall all of my programs, including FFXIV. I've been trying to search around the past couple days for an issue similar to mine on both the ReShade forums and here, and I haven't seen anything, so I'm biting the bullet and making a thread.
